I do this because I love meeting new friends, I love love, and I’m inspired by people. married on the endless ocean // Big Sur // a story of mindy + dakota
one of the most beautiful tasks i’ve undertaken in my wedding business. you can’t fake love in post. mindy and dakota and the loved ones around them and their earnest and mindful planning and visual savvy, their want to see me as a friend first before anything is what made this possible. a lot of things have to go right for something like this to be created, and thats just what happened. thank you mindy and dakota.
a patient love // a story of janis + justin
we love love. i do this work cause of people like janis and justin. this one was special. days figuring out the musical elements to drive the story, ideating with artist and good friend @sarahyun_um on the original art, going back and forth between methods of storytelling. the hope is that on each watch, you’ll find new things and stories within stories. truly a study of how the day felt.
“first and last love” // a sally + paul story
an 11 year relationship culminating into this very special moment, captured on video to remember forever. a long journey to get here, and a long fruitful journey ahead is what this film signifies. cheers to sally and paul, thank you for trusting me with the vision. another film I am happy to have worked with friend @sarahyun_um to bring and ideate some illustrations to life.
Angela + Joseph Myungjin // Absolutely 2 of the best people. Yo I’m a huge words of affirmation guy, and the first thing MJ said to me when I met him was how much he enjoyed my work. I said, bet 🥲🤝 I got you on this one. I love when I can do me and when people appreciate that. Angela sent back the warmest message the day I sent them the film, expressing how much she liked it. That’s what its all about, meeting good, generous, kind people and making movies of course thats a FACT!!!! (Vendor credits at end of video!)

Had fun with this one. Honored to have been able to create for these beautiful people who showed me so much love. Also, one of the first times working with an artist friend to bring some art to life in the video. Lots going on here under the hood, proud of this one. Inspired by new places and I always have love for the east coast so hit me even if you’re not around LA.

some of my favorite images I’ve ever created in a film. a film made possible only by their love, I was just a hand to help visualize it into this format. a reminder that beautiful set pieces like the noguchi garden and wedding dresses and cool venues as amazing as they are, are only supporting characters in these stories. yall really the main characters
Samantha + Kevin // rainy engagement session in brooklyn
we had pizza at rubirosa and then we braved the rain for this gem of a session. had way too much fun damn
I met Jackie and Ben through a mutual friend. I met Ben at that mutual friends wedding and only heard great things about the guy, so was excited to be able to film and create something for both him and Jackie. Their first dance was to a song called “Find Someone Like You” by the one and only Snoh Aalegra, and I knew I had to incorporate that into the film. I also enjoyed adding an inside joke that Jackie had mentioned in her personal vows as an easter egg in the film.

Against the backdrop of Mt. Whitney, Erin + Jeff solidified their marriage through an elopement style wedding. and then we got kbbq after. // photo: @boybrooklyn
Michelle and Eddie are actually 2 good friends of mine that I met in college. Love these guys, and always grateful for them for trusting me with their wedding day. Vibes all around the whole day. I think the location of the first look really allowed for some cool moments to happen between them as they read some personal vows together.
